I discovered the Taebo infomercial during the wee hours of the morning back in February 1999. As I watched the infomercial, I kept telling myself that this was something that I could do even though I knew it wasn't going to be easy (but let's face it, nothing in life is ever easy). That's where my love of Taebo stems from, the challenge of doing things and attaining goals I never dreamed possible! Of course, my initial reason for purchasing Taebo was to lose weight because I had recently gotten engaged and I wanted to lose weight for my wedding.

But, from the moment I put the instructional video in the VCR I knew this was so much more than a way to lose weight. Taebo has pushed me to the limits physically, mentally and spiritually which, in turn has made me grow as a person.

My original weight loss goal was to get back to a size 10. At that time I was a size 12/14 and weighed 196 pounds. I had never been smaller than a size 8 up to that point and I thought that a size 10 was a reasonable and attainable goal. Never in my wildest dreams could I imagine surpassing that goal which, I did (and am currently a size 4/6). But losing the weight wasn't the best part of discovering Taebo. During my journey, I discovered myself and learned how to love the person I am, no matter what size I am. I discovered a desire inside myself that wants to continue to grow, learn and embrace all that life has to offer. Even when things don't go as expected, I learn from those experiences and continue to move forward. I constantly set new goals for myself and strive to be the best person I can be.

Like so many others have said here, it's hard to put into words exactly what Taebo has done and how it has changed my life. All I can say is that I feel extremely grateful that through Taebo and the wisdom of Billy Blanks, I've come to better understand myself and have a new focus and direction in life.
